Shakira at her Very Best

Shakira is not just a singer, she has so many attributes that you don’t normally find in a pop idol. When you see the Shakira pictures, you are not only looking at a beautiful young lady, but a very intelligent one too. She is reputed to have an IQ of 140, way above the average person in the street, let alone the celebrity fraternity. Shakira is news everywhere she goes. When she was selected for the main cover of Time magazine and later that of Cosmopolitan her face and flowing long hair was famous around the world. ‘Whenever, wherever’ and ‘Under your clothes’ launched her to the Anglophonic speaking audience and when these went platinum she as an international star in her own right.

Shakira is well known for her singing and dancing which makes her shows so much more than just a voice oration. She is less well known though as being a philanthropist, record producer and writer in her own right. Not many people can lay claim to so many talents and abilities. Her sales of ‘Laundry service’ sold a staggering 15 million copies. Her album sales have passed the 50 million mark and she is well on her way to being one of the richest and high earning women in the world. This star is in a league of her own and has a tremendous following and fan base in all countries of the world.
